Держава робитиме все для розвитку важливого, міцного роду військ. Для оснащення нашої піхоти сучасною зброєю, технікою та для створення нових бригад морської піхоти України.

Дякую кожному воїну за те, що ви робите все ближчою найголовнішу сторінку нашої держави. Це сторінка справедливої української перемоги. Слава вам – усім морським піхотинцям України!

A special day. A special day for all Ukrainian citizens. A day of special courage, resilience, and strength of our Ukrainian Marines.

Today I have the honor to announce that a decision has been made to significantly increase the potential of the Ukrainian Marines – to create the Marine Corps. The state will do everything to develop an important, strong branch of troops. To provide our infantry with modern weapons and equipment and to create new brigades of the Ukrainian Marines.

I thank each and every warrior for bringing the most important page of our country closer. This is the page of Ukraine's just victory. Glory to you – all the Marines of Ukraine!

Хочеться побажати нашим воїнам берегти своє життя. Адже від їхнього життя залежить життя України.

Vuhledar – Maryinka defense line in the Donetsk region. I awarded the strongest. We honored the memory of the best.

I would like to wish our warriors to take care of their lives, for the life of Ukraine depends on their lives.

Our international block is working vigorously and thoroughly with partners on new defense packages for Ukraine. New decisions are already at the working level. More protection for our skies, more opportunities for our defense and movement on the ground. I held several meetings today where we discussed all this. And we expect appropriate steps from our partners in the near future.

Let us not forget for a single minute that every day of the occupier’s presence on our land is a temptation for him to think that he will succeed. He will not! We must return freedom, security and Europe to all Ukrainian land - to all European land. We will do it! We will not leave a single piece of our land to the enemy - tyranny will not reign anywhere. And I thank our partners-leaders, all partner countries, each and every one who helps us increase our strength and make Ukrainian defense even more active.

Glory to all our warriors who are now in combat, at combat posts and on combat missions!
Glory to every Ukrainian family that has raised such sons and daughters!

Наш міжнародний блок дуже активно, в деталях працює з партнерами заради нових оборонних пакетів для України. Нові рішення – вже на робочому рівні. Більше захисту для нашого неба, більше можливостей для нашої оборони та руху на землі… Провів сьогодні кілька нарад, де ми все це обговорювали. І очікуємо вже найближчим часом відповідних кроків від партнерів.

Ані на хвилину не забуваємо, що кожен день присутності окупанта на нашій землі – це спокуса для нього думати, ніби йому щось вдасться… Нічого йому не вдасться! Маємо повернути свободу, безпеку і Європу на всю українську землю – на всю європейську землю. І ми це зробимо! Не залишимо ворогу жодного клаптика нашої землі – ніде тиранія не пануватиме. І я дякую лідерам-партнерам, усім державам-партнерам, кожному і кожній, хто нам допомагає зміцнювати нашу силу та робити українську оборону ще активнішою.

Слава всім нашим воїнам, які зараз у бою, на бойових постах та в бойових завданнях!
Слава кожній українській родині, яка виховала таких синів і доньок! Слава Україні!

It is very important that Russia receives ever stronger signals that the world will not forgive any of Russia's acts of terror. And that as many global players as possible are absolutely principled in upholding the sanctions regime against Russia for terror.

I thank each and every person in the world who helps strengthen the isolation of terrorists and stop any supply of weapons and their components to terrorists, who works to block the Russian military-industrial complex and to strengthen the defense capabilities of the whole of Europe.

Following this week, I would like to especially thank our partners from Denmark for Caesars; Slovenia for armored vehicles; Spain for tanks; and Germany for additional defense intentions regarding armored vehicles and shells, and for air defense.

I am grateful to America for funding in the amount of USD 1 billion 250 million to support our budget and resilience. I am grateful to the Netherlands for the parliamentary decision to train Ukrainian soldiers on advanced Western systems. I am grateful to Italy for its efforts to rebuild our country as soon as possible. I am grateful to Croatia for its new assistance in the treatment of our defenders after being wounded in combat.

Remaining as united as possible, maintaining the greatest principled stance to protect our common values and implementing defense agreements as fast as possible, all together in Ukraine, in Europe, in the world, we will be able to prevent Russia from protracting the war and restore a normal, just peace.

Дуже важливо – щоб Росія отримувала постійно сильніші сигнали, що світ не пробачить жодного із проявів російського терору. І щоб якнайбільше глобальних гравців були абсолютно принциповими у дотриманні режиму санкцій проти Росії за терор.

Я дякую кожному і кожній у світі, хто допомагає посилювати ізоляцію терористів і зупиняти будь-яке постачання терористам зброї, її компонентів, хто працює для блокування ВПК Росії і для посилення оборонних можливостей всієї Європи.

За підсумками цього тижня хочу особливо подякувати нашим партнерам із Данії – за «Цезарі»; зі Словенії – за бронетехніку; з Іспанії – за танки; з Німеччини – за додаткові оборонні наміри щодо бронетехніки і снарядів, за ППО.
Дякую Америці за фінансування обсягом 1 млрд 250 млн доларів для підтримки нашого бюджету та стійкості.
Дякую Нідерландам за рішення парламенту щодо тренування українських воїнів на передових західних системах. Дякую Італії за активність заради скорішої відбудови нашої держави. Дякую Хорватії за нову допомогу у лікуванні наших захисників після поранень у боях.

Обов’язково у максимальній єдності, зберігаючи максимальну принциповість для захисту наших спільних цінностей та максимально швидко виконуючи оборонні домовленості – всі разом в Україні, в Європі, у світі, – зможемо не дати Росії затягнути війну і відновимо нормальний справедливий мир.

Слава всім, хто в бою заради України!

Під час розмови з Президентом Франції Еммануелем Макроном подякував за всебічну та дієву підтримку України з боку Франції.

Обговорили взаємодію в роботі з іншими міжнародними партнерами щодо консолідації їх підтримки української формули миру. Скоординували позиції напередодні важливих міжнародних заходів та узгодили наступні конкретні кроки у межах двостороннього діалогу.

Детально поінформував про ситуацію на фронті та перспективи її розвитку у травні-червні. Окремо акцентував на першочергових потребах українських сил оборони.

Швидкість і конкретність реагування – це дуже важливо, це те, що значно посилює наші можливості. Цінуємо підтвердження Францією надання нашим Збройним Силам потужного бронетанкового пакету.

During a conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron, I thanked for France's comprehensive and effective support for Ukraine.

We discussed cooperation in working with other international partners to consolidate their support for the Ukrainian Peace Formula. We coordinated our positions on the eve of important international events and agreed on the next concrete steps within the bilateral dialogue.

I informed him in detail of the situation on the frontline and prospects for its development in May and June. I also placed emphasis on the priority needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The speed and specificity of the response is very important, it is something that significantly enhances our capabilities. We appreciate France's confirmation of providing our Armed Forces with a powerful armored package.

Three new decisions on sanctions against those who invest in and support Russian aggression entered into force today.

Firstly, this is another package of sanctions against the Russian defense industry enterprises that maintain the terrorist army. This time, 322 companies were added to the sanctions lists – manufacturers of weapons, components, etc.

The other two sanctions lists include individuals and legal entities that help circumvent sanctions against Russia, keep the property of war criminals, and are involved in the destruction of freedom both on the territory of Russia itself and on our land.

Our sanctions packages are being worked out in detail, in particular, regarding their synchronization with partners. It is one of the key common tasks of all of us – absolutely everyone who seeks a faster end to the war, a faster victory for us. The task is to remove any opportunity for Russia to circumvent sanctions. Every Russian scheme that makes it possible to bypass sanctions makes this war longer, adds opportunities for the aggressor.

Accordingly, the tougher the sanctions regime against Russia, the more restrictions against the terrorist state and all related persons, against the entire Russian war economy, the faster the end of the aggression will be.
And I thank everyone in the world who understands this.
