I was saddened when I saw the mug shot above of Atlanta lawyer Ray Smith.
Ray helped me draft my lawsuit in November of 2020 wherein I alleged that the GA November 3 election was unlawful because the changes in the election procedures were not approved or adopted by the Georgia legislature as required by law.
Atlanta attorney Clayton Robert Barker had steered me to Ray. I knew Bob from his days as a partner of the then Atlanta law firm of Powell Goldstein where I was a partner for a few short years.
I terminated Ray as my lawyer in mid-December of 2020 as I realized he was taking my case in directions I never intended for it to go.
Bob was also friends with Carlos Silva, a Miami attorney, who was a supporter of mine when I ran for Chair of the South Carolina GOP. Carlos and Bob steered me to Ibrahim Reyes who has been fighting for me as my lawyer against lawfare in Georgia since 2021.
Bob’s referral of Ray Smith did not work out so well.
But I appreciate his referral of Ibrahim.
Ibrahim, along with John Exum, is still leading the charge for me in the GA lawfare cases.
