Specialists in the fields of Energy and Environment are actively participating in the engaging English lessons organized within Cohort 1 of the C5+ONE (Opening Networks Through English) program in Nukus, Khiva, and Tashkent.
The C5+ONE program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and is administered by American Councils for International Education.
During this program, participants spend 5 hours per week in interactive English lessons, focusing on improving their communication skills through student-centered lessons. The course duration is three trimesters, totaling 180 hours.

Position Summary:The C5 + ONE (Opening Networks through English) English Language Teacher will be involved in a new project that supports English language instruction for young professionals working in the fields of energy and environment throughout Central Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing American English language instruction to organizations located in Tashkent, Khiva, and Nukus and will report to a Lead Teacher, based in Tashkent, who will provide training and mentoring during the program. 3- Month consultancy agreement will be signed with successful candidates with the possibility to renew.

C5+ONE National Training of Teachers Empowers Educators for English Education in UzbekistanThe National Training of Teachers (NToT) for the C5+ONE program took place at the premises of the American Councils’ office in Tashkent on June 19-20. This intensive workshop was aimed to train a cohort of educators who will be teaching English in Khiva, Nukus, and Tashkent.
The Classroom Teachers were equipped with the best strategies to effectively deliver the program curriculum for Trimester 1. Additionally, on the final day of the NToT, they had the opportunity to connect with participants who were selected based on their results in the adaptive KITE (Kaplan International Tools for English) test.

Pre-Test for C5+ONE Program's First Cohort in TashkentOn June 9, the pre-test for participants of the C5+ONE Program's first cohort has been conducted in Tashkent City at the premises of Nazar Business and Technology. 15 participants representing Nazar Business & Technology, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Uzatom Agency took part in an adaptive KITE (Kaplan International Tools for English) test to assess their English proficiency levels.
Based on the test results, we are now forming the groups for cohort one. Stay tuned for updates!
