When you veer away from religion, people think itβs because you donβt believe in God. Itβs the opposite. Religion comes between you and God/Source/the Divineβ¦ whatever the name isnβt important. Itβs a higher power that you feel within, and following your own path of inner truth gives you a direct connection between you and this higher power. This direct communication allows us to step into our own power and listen to our inner voice.
From this space we can take full responsibility for our livesβ¦ the good and the bad. We realize that everything that has happened to us has been for our souls growth, and the more we overcome, the stronger we become and have empathy for others. We all have a mission in this life and the more battles we conquer, the closer we get to living the life of our dreams. Itβs not an easy path as there is a lifetime of de-programming. We have to heal the traumas that have triggered us and held us back from living a passionate life of peace and joy. We need to learn to love ourselves unconditionally, and when we can do this, we can give that love to others and accept that same love back.
